Nine In The Boxâ„šī¸

How to play

Every day there is one box. Each row and column is a category: a club, a nationality, a career milestone, an honour, a position, a height or a birth year.

Tap a cell and name an A-League Men player who fits both its row and its column. You get one guess per cell, nine in total, and a wrong guess locks that cell. Each player can be used once.

Example

Row Sydney FC, column Scored 50+ goals: Alex Brosque played for Sydney FC and scored more than 50 A-League goals, so he fits.

Rarity

The percentages and your rarity score stay hidden until you lock in all nine answers, or give up. Each percentage is how likely that player was to be picked for that cell, based on how well known they are and on what other players chose today, and your rarity score is the sum over nine cells with a miss counting 100 — so lower is rarer, and the lowest total wins.
